Julie Ashmun, M.Ed., BCBA

Julie began working in child care centers and preschool classrooms in 1995. She has been a Project DATA teacher and coordinator, a professional development research assistant and trainer, a family resource coordinator and is currently an education specialist with the Professional Development and Training Team at the University of Washington’s Haring Center. Julie has a masters degree in education, with an emphasis in early childhood special education, and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Julie specializes in working with children with neurodevelopmental delays, including autism, and has worked with families and educators.

Her research focuses on assessment and intervention practices for inclusive school based programs for children with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders.
