DCYF Complex Needs Training: Back-to-School Series

FREE, online in-service (STARS) hours training to help equip Early Childhood Providers as they start a new school year!

These trainings will focus on setting up your learning environment, developing your daily schedule, preparing for smooth transitions, establishing clear routines and expectations, classroom management, collaboration, large groups, and supporting multilingual learners.

DCYF Complex Needs Training: Fall Series Now Open!

FREE, online in-service (STARS) hours training to support Early Childhood Providers who care for young children with complex needs.

These trainings will focuses on deepening the provider’s knowledge in several areas: individualizing instruction, supporting social-emotional learning, and understanding challenging behavior.

Individualizing Instruction: The Building Blocks Framework for Teaching Preschoolers with Complex Needs (3-Part Series) – 6 In-service (STARS) Hours:

UW Demonstration Sites

As part of the Inclusionary Practices Technical Network (IPTN), the Demonstration Sites team partners with schools and districts across Washington to highlight inclusive learning environments by supporting site visits, showcasing effective practices, and providing coaching, tools, and professional development.

They can be used in early childhood through transition programs, and are an easy and effective way to embed instruction within on-going routines and support teaming and collaboration.
