Thank you for using the Direct Support Professionals Motivation Assessment Inventory (MAI-DSP). Below please find resources to better assist you in your staff retention efforts. If you have any questions, you may contact Christopher Jones at cdj@uw.edu
DSP-MAI Manual– This manual includes background and instructions on how to use the Assessment Tool, as well as directions on how to understand the results you receive. Most importantly, this manual gives you information on interventions you can use within your company depending on the results of your assessment.
Videos- The videos below are based on each of the 7 areas of intervention that the results of your DSP-MAI directed you to. So, for example, if your results indicated that your company is having challenges with Supervisor Acknowledgment, you would want to watch that video for ideas on how to make changes in this area within your company. Regardless of which videos you view, you should definitely watch the Introductory Video first to get some perspective on staff retention in general.
