EEU Family Council
What is the Family Council?
The EEU Family Council is a way for families and caregivers of EEU students to get involved in the EEU community and provide direct support to the school & classrooms.
The EEU is an amazing place, with an even more amazing community of families, teachers & staff, and, of course, children. Being a part of the EEU is something special - this is a place where big things happen, and it's really exciting to be a part of something that's more than just 'school'. We know that our EEU teachers and staff work incredibly hard to make this important work happen, and we, as parents and caregivers, want to do all that we can to support them.
This is why the EEU Family Council exists - to support our teachers and classrooms, and to celebrate and build the wonderful EEU community.
What does the Family Council do?
The Family Council organizes and sponsors several activities and events throughout the year. The main purposes of these activities are to: raise money to support classrooms, recognize, appreciate & thank EEU staff, and to build and celebrate EEU community.
How do I join the Family Council?
As an EEU parent or caregiver, you’re already a member! We know extended family members and other friends of the EEU often want to help support the school, as well, so please feel free to share information with others – the more, the merrier!
How can I help the Family Council?
There are many ways to help the Family Council, from attending quarterly meetings to share ideas, to volunteering at our monthly Coffee Cart, to coordinating an all-school event, to collecting Box Tops for Education for the EEU! As needs for help are identified, we’ll let the community know via newsletter and email, so be sure to keep a watch out!
How do I keep up to date on Family Council activities, events, and needs for help?
