General Information
The Experimental Education Unit (EEU) at the Haring Center is a comprehensive early childhood center providing inclusive educational services for families and children with and without disabilities from birth through kindergarten. Services are provided to children and families through a transdisciplinary approach characterized by collaboration in which professionals share their discipline specific information and skills with other members of the team including the family. Project DATA is a program for children with housed at the EEU. Project DATA provides extra instruction and family support for children who attend the inclusive preschool programs at the EEU.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Determine goals and objectives for the pupils and develop appropriate programs to implement and evaluate goals and objectives
  • Work collaboratively with preschool teachers to develop appropriate goals and objectives for IEPS
  • Demonstrate exemplary teaching through maintenance of continuous and direct measurement of children's progress, analysis of data, and planning and implementation of interventions
  • Implement functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans as necessary
  • Participate in interdisciplinary staffing to develop appropriate instructional goals for children
  • Provide supervision and demonstration teaching for students in training
  • Conduct educational programs for families and individual home visits
  • Develop instructional programs/materials
  • Implement research procedures as appropriate


  • Master's degree in Special Education or related area
  • Experience as a behavior analyst with children with autism and related disabilities
  • Experience in training University students preferred
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Proof of citizenship and employment eligibility
  • Other tasks as assigned

  • Seek feedback and utilize suggestions to improve performance
